Fill this once. Everything downstream (which elements you must submit, the PFMEA and control-plan headers, the PSW draft) is driven from here. Example data loaded — replace with your part
Level 3 is the AIAG default unless your customer's authorised representative specifies otherwise. Many Tier-1s in Chakan and PCMC specify their own level and format in their Customer-Specific Requirements; the CSR always wins over this tool.
One block per operation. Each characteristic you add here becomes a line in the control plan and a seed row in the PFMEA, so you type it once. Mark special characteristics (CC / SC) — the control plan carries the symbol and the PFMEA pre-sets severity.
Rate S, O, D on 1–10. Action Priority (AP) is computed from the AIAG-VDA table; RPN is shown for customers still on the AIAG 4th-edition format. Rows seeded from characteristics stay linked to them.
Generated from the characteristics in the process flow. Edit the evaluation method, sample size, frequency, control method and reaction plan here; the characteristic itself is edited in tab 2.
Columns follow the AIAG control-plan layout (part/process no., process name, machine, characteristics, special class, spec/tolerance, evaluation technique, sample size & frequency, control method, reaction plan).
The 18 elements with what your chosen level asks for. Track status and owner per element; readiness counts only the elements you must have for this level.

Level codes cross-checked against the AIAG PPAP 4th-edition retention/submission table as reproduced in several Tier-1 supplier manuals. Your customer's CSR overrides it. Bulk-material requirements, if your customer demands them, are not covered here.
One workbook with five sheets: Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP Checklist and a PSW header draft. Open it in Excel, apply your customer's format, and submit.
Your work is also kept in this browser automatically, on this device only. Take a backup before clearing browser data.
Aniket Waghchaure reviews first-submission PPAP packs for suppliers in Chakan, PCMC and Ranjangaon before they go to the customer: element by element against the customer's specific requirements, with the PFMEA and control plan tied to real process data. He has sat on the receiving side of PPAP as the customer's reviewer, so the review reads the pack the way your SQE will.
